MicroStrategy Roadshow Dispatch #4: Architect, Integrity Manager, and Mobile Intelligence

Hugh Owen, Senior Product Manager

Houston, Texas Roadshow – The event was held at the St. Regis Hotel in Houston, which is an extremely plush and fancy hotel. The event was attended by a number of local MicroStrategy customers, prospects and partners (and prospective partners).

After the MicroStrategy Technology and Vision presentation (the keynote if you will) we had a large open customer discussion which focused on rapid project architecting, the new auto-configuration heuristics in MicroStrategy Architect, and Mobile Intelligence. Read the rest of this entry »

64-Bit and Intelligent Cubes

Suhrud, Product Manager

I  recently had the pleasure of participating in the MicroStrategy user group discussion in Columbus, OH as part of our MicroStrategy 9 Release 2 Roadshow event there. The main topic of conversation was 64-bit BI and, specifically, MicroStrategy Intelligent Cubes. More than other customers, Limited Brands had a lot to share with the group.  Read the rest of this entry »

MicroStrategy 9 Release 2 Roadshow – Dispatch #3

Hugh Owen, Senior Product Manager

Three cities, three states, and three very successful roadshow events. I’ve really enjoyed getting to meet up with such a large and diverse number of customers in their home cities. And getting to go out running in Seattle, Portland, and Denver. Looking forward to this week where I visit:

• Houston, TX at the St. Regis Houston today at 9am;
• Atlanta, GA at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead tomorrow the 10th at 9am;

If you live in or near these cities I encourage you to come along, have continental breakfast, hear about the latest release, and the technology strategy and vision. Come and say hello. Mention you read this blog and I’ll apologize in person for the lackadaisical attitude towards standard grammar rules and structure. Read the rest of this entry »

You’ve got to be kidding me, really? Collaboration, it can’t be!

Darrel Kammeyer, Vice President, Industry Solutions: Hospitality, Gaming & Travel

Those of us in our former “silo-ed” divisions of marketing, sales, operations, finance, games and revenue management are actually talking.  I mean not just talking within our own comfortable departments, but we’re breaking out…having,  real, constructive, quality discussions on around what is taking place within in the business, the whole business!  Read the rest of this entry »

MicroStrategy Roadshow in Full Swing

Matt Ipri, Director, Americas Marketing

As you’ve seen from some of the last few posts, especially from our fearless road-warrior Hugh Owen, our MicroStrategy 9 Release 2 Roadshow kicked off this week in North America.  This week alone we will have had 12 events across the US and Canada, each one delivering the message that MicroStrategy is focused on the future of business intelligence.  I thought it would be interesting to look at a quick snapshot of some of the events that went on this week… Read the rest of this entry »
